Throughout the Word, God plainly shows that His will is for His covenant people to have a surplus of prosperity. So it's primarily some kind of worship-for-blessings setup. First of all it is Gods nature to be good. Prosperity simply means, 'Having enough to do the will of God.' And that's how much God wants you to have, no more and no less. It belongs to Him and we are not at liberty to tamper with it. He promised to make Abraham rich, and the promise of Abraham is ours today (Galatians 3:13-14; Genesis 17:6). For our hearts are so bent to lean toward missing God because we see that we ourselves have brought this time of prosperity by our hard work or other various things. What is Gods will for His children? Then this city will bring me renown, joy, praise and honor before all nations on earth that hear of all the good things I do for it; and they will be in awe and will tremble at the abundant prosperity and peace I provide for it. At the heart of the prosperity gospel is the idea that by giving, you plant a “seed of faith” that will grow into a harvest of a 100 times or more. Believers don't need to plead with the Heavenly Father for prosperity, or beg Him to meet their needs. It is to have abundance and prosperity in every aspect of their lives. For the next few weeks I'll be posting on 100 Lessons on Prosperity. It is a true test I pray this will be an amazing experien. The central idea of the prosperity message is that if you worship God then you will be blessed materially.
